Behind an exquisite facade, with blue tinted bay windows set in satin finished stainless steel, the Port Palace reveals a calm and sophisticated world which allows room for space and plays on the purity of the lines in its architecture, decor and furniture.
The 5 floors of the hotel have 5 different themes (air, rock, sea, sun and sand) which are reflected in the colour of the marbles used in the bathrooms, the leather shades and the choice of fabrics.
The decor was entrusted to Leila Manchari who has tried to make the atmosphere soothing and favourable for relaxation. The décor favours the clean lines of Poltrona Frau furniture and the restful colours of Rubelli fabrics. The natural materials, worked by craftsmen from all over the world, reflect the attention to detail and the quest for perfection, marble from Carrare, polished stones from Spain, granite from Cachemire, Austrian iron etc.
The suites are equipped with the latest technology, 3 direct dial telephone lines, 1 or 2 plasma screen televisions, ADSL connection, Internet, and fax available. They have spacious bathrooms with Jacuzzi baths and separate showers. The Executive Corner suites are also equipped with a private hammam.
On the top floor of the hotel, the La Mandarine restaurant offers a panoramic view over the sailing port and the “Rock”. The cuisine has been entrusted to the talented young chef François Pillard, formerly at Marc Meneau.
